I enjoyed the first two in the series. But an hour and a half into this one I gave up. I couldn’t listen to any more stupid actions by the girl. This one is going back.

This author woke me up to how far I had fallen from the love of God.

Story was great. Reader is one of my favorites. I appreciate the patriotism, values, and Christian references. Thrilling to listen … great strategies to solve their conflicts. Well done!

The nearly 6 hours spent listening to this book was time well spent. There are even more bad guys than ever and the heat is turned up for our luckless survivors!

Survivalists are going to love this. If you don’t like this genre you might find it overly descriptive, but I really liked it. Has an A.A. American Coming Home series feel. I’m excited for the next in the series.

The 1st book read like a preppers how-to novel with baited questions and lengthy, over technical answers which did not add to the story. The 2nd book had promise. The 3rd book kept building on the 2nd nicely only to fall utterly flat on its face with the very last line in the book leaving..

The largest manhunt in history. The elimination of one family. The story is interesting but too long winded. The female narrator sounds like a computer generated voice. Extremely unnatural and annoying.

Too much religious quotes to keep my interest. Ruins the whole effect of the story.

Usually the combo of Jack Olsen writing and Kevin Pierce’s narration makes for an amazing book. Sadly this one is boring and has none of the twists and turns I’m used to by Olsen. Not his finest at all.
