This has been a very good series. I’m anxious to hear some more from this author. And of course, reader Kevin Pierce can’t be beat!

Wes, Jess, Raider and company continue to attempt to form a life amidst the dangerous post-disaster world.

Very interesting story of coming from nothing to the top, but the guy reading was a terrible “fit”. I’m not sure if it was hilarious or irritating. Just seemed odd… it seemed like Dave Chappelle doing his white guy, but not nearly as funny.

Well researched and did keep me wanting to listen to more. A bit depressing to see how one can avoid locked up for such a period of time.

in this story. Author does a nice job leading us up to a financial collapse. It should be apparent to anyone of how both parties have insanely led us into the looming abyss. Absolutely a lot to like with this series and book 2 does not falter. I do enjoy the politics of this series and how the author explains how a financial meltdown could actually happen.

This story seemed like it was slapped together to push a book out and keep the series going.

This book started off good, but at the half way point it got confusing. The battle chapters were extremely confusing. I’m glad the series is over.

Franklin is by far one of my all time favorite authors. Kevin does a great job reading, he really puts a lot of emotion into the characters bringing them to life.
