Finally a post apocalyptic story with some creativity. More than just an event with a story about traveling & searching for family…..(like 90% post apocalyptic books).Good read!

An enjoyable read that kept me on the edge of my seat for 39+ hours. Characters you want to like and root for throughout the 3 volumes. Familiar places on the map to refer to as the story progresses. I highly recommend this Trilogy!

I tried to enjoy this but could not get past the stupid unrealistic battles that these characters walked away from and should not have. No one would have these constant injuries and live or fight. Hard to keep up with the characters.
Learned a lot, very entertaining as well. Gave me a lot of insight on things to be aware of. Or for us to do our research on these subjects. And I love the way he shows how the Bible aligns with these events. I really decided to stop listening to murder mysteries and romance books…
I’ve never wanted the main characters to go down more than I did with these books.

Felt more like an exercise in the author working out some of his own shit rather than an actual story. This book took a long time to do very little. Probably not going to continue on with the series.
So, a variation on the theme of an EMP attack. I enjoy the genre so this is a solid series, a few new twists (prisons). I thought too much emphasis on a condensed timeline, especially for non urban issues. I sped the books up at the end,….
