I suspected this from the get go, but by Chapter 16 there was no doubt the author sees the world through a MAGA lens. And I am determined not to be Hillbilly Elegy’d again. Take your Trump supporting nonsense somewhere else.

The author has a plethora of knowledge on multiple subjects and is amazing at evoking emotions. This series brought laughter and tears and kept us wanting more.

The main character is yet another iteration of the weird, paranoid, immature toddler who finally gets play soldier in real life that ruins all apocalyptic books. FANTASTIC book very well written i would recommend to anyone. I was sad that this series had to end.

Very interesting and clearly didn’t get enough attention. Hopefully there will be more in the future.

International Mad Mick and friends. Just another wonderful book by Horton! This is much more fast paced and narrator speaks much faster on this book. Not my preference but still worth the listen!!

I like the fact that there were mini stories in the bigger picture. It gave me a chance to learn more about each character. The actions they took to survive could easily be a real life scenario.

What a stupid story… I’d Ivey wasn’t some absurd supernatural predator it was a plausible story… Horton you lost me on this one.

Pretty good but I felt it was lacking. Love the premise though far from home time running low. Honestly just could not quite get into it.

I really enjoyed the characters in this book. Story was very believable. And as always Kevin Pierce knocks it out of the park. If he’s narrating it, I’m listening to it.
