Great narrator keeps you wanting more. Great story telling with twists and turns. Mick, Barb, and Regus take on amazing odds and come out on top.
I like the storyline. I like the characters and I like the author’s writing style. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the set.
A great value for a pretty decent listen. No new or earth shattering twists butba good way to pass the time.
Great Story! It took me a minute to figure out what was going on but then I had to know what was going to happen next. I was so happy with the ending.

I didn’t like all the infighting and back biting amongst the main characters but it seems plausible considering the circumstances. This story seems like it must have taken an incredible amount of research and creativity to weave together. The narrator changes voice to represent each character and has to recycle several voices so that they start..
It could have been a great series. The overall story line is very good but the fascination with knife fighting and winning against trained soldiers with rifles just gets to be way too much. Along with the 120 lbs. woman beating the crap out of EVERY man she encounters is exhausting.
I loved the book. I laughed so many times, some of the parts were hilarious. Franklin continues his great world building as he introduces new plots and characters. I loved the interactions and relationships of the old and new characters, especially seeing the backstories of some of our old favorites. I enjoyed all the new..
after the disappointment of the grid going down a second time it was difficult to continue. haha but getting back into it the ending ended on a good cliffhanger. One that isn’t such a sucker punch.
