Oh my. I struggled to listen to this book. The narration is boring. The content is great and worthwhile, it’s like taking your vitamins. Good for you but yucky.

As usual Ryan Schow with masterful and intense storytelling and Kevin Pierce with the best narration on audible. I think Rowdy Banks is without a doubt my favorite new character of the apocalypse. I can’t wait to see where this series goes because it is awesome so far!

I’ve enjoyed the previous books in this series well enough because they focused on trying to survive the collapse, but this one is where the government comes for all the guns, so it’s pretty nutty and was just hard to get through. I didn’t enjoy a single bit of this story, so I wouldn’t recommend..

An ok end of the world story, but there is a lot in it that makes you shake your head. In fact I had to skip ahead many times because it was too much to take.

The narrator’s voice is excellent. I’m actually going to look for more work he’s done because I just like his voice. The story was okay, but things escalated to violence way too quickly. The main character’s willingness to murder folks (who arguably deserved it) without being phased by it came across a bit sociopathic. It..
