I loved the characters and the struggles of women to know their own mind. Edith had compassion and still was true to herself.
This is a story with depth, covering several generations and two continents. The story feels very personal and genuine. Great characters; very human, not plastic. The reading was intriguing as each character developed. Several twists allowed for an interesting, developing plot.
