This was my favorite book of Lynn’s so far!! It was such a good one! I will say I almost stopped listening because of the narrator but so glad I pushed through!!
What a marvelous mystery! Such a beautifully painted picture of Gilded Age New York– and Edith Wharton solving a crime– well, what more could one want. An incredibly tight mystery, that has inspired me to read more Wharton. I loved THE LINDBERGH NANNY by Mariah Fredericks, but it might be possible that I love this..
I love this author. she always keeps up the suspense throughout the whole book. you think you know what’s going to happen and then you don’t anymore. some reviews mentioned not liking the ending, but I did.
I love how this audiobook was easy to digest. It broke the principles down in a way that was easy to understand and implement for couples therapy. Great examples as well:)
A great listen for anyone interested in the history of ideas surrounding the use of rules in the guises of models, algorithms and laws. Good discussion of arguments for and against bending rules or abrogating them. The narration is sprightly and fully intelligible at 1.6 speed. A slight criticism: the narrator’s pronunciation of French terms..
This book feels like someone other than Jennifer McMahon wrote it.There is no depth, the character development is weak, there is virtually no description of the places, the setting, the characters, there is no atmosphere.I fell in love with this author several years ago and binge read four or five of her books because of..
I found absolutely nothing of interest in this story. It never got any better. It ended as stupidly as it began. Do not waste your time. I would not purchase another novel from this author,
I highly recommend this book..,it artfully shows how sins of the past leave ripples into the future and Gods grace that calms the storms.
I love everything about it. I was hooked from beginning to end and can’t wait to start the next one. Hope they keep them coming.
Surprised me how the story was carefully woven together and characters brought to life. Brought me too tears.
