This was a little different than her normal books. Sometimes I got sci-fi vibes. But it was still good. Not something I’d want her to start doing but good for a change.
It’s really creepy and distrubing. I read it too quickly, and now I have to wait for Jennifer’s next book.
A beautiful story of 4 generations is women who through their lives taught about family, commitment, trusting God and Grace.
As an avid fan of McMahon’s past work, I had to give this one a go, regardless of not liking her previous one, The Children on the Hill. Alas, this was also a let-down. The story fell flat, as did the vapid characters. I think Benji was the most *likable*—if you can even call it..
Gripping and spooky! One of my favorite Jennifer McMahon books to date. This book will leave you feeling unsettled and on edge! Great ending as well.
This book has you guessing until the very end. Its characters and events are somehow so realistic despite the unexpected turns they take. I was scared every step of the way, and I rooted for the main character Allison more than any other character in Jennifer McMahon’s books.
I’ve read several of this author’s books and I’ve really enjoyed all of them! This one was right on par with the others. I loved the characters and the Narration was fantastic. Started off a tad slow, but once it picked up I couldn’t stop reading. Loved the twist at the end. Highly recommend!
