Great narrator. I was so touched by the stories of each woman’s life and of the relationship between them.
Although the story has some compelling features, it is difficult to get past the mediocrity of the writing. I could not find an original, interesting sentence. She uses worn out cliches and the book’s “mysteries” were clearly foretold in the first two chapters. I am not usually a reader of Christian literature but like to..
Incredible story of when faith is challenged. Beautifully written – a favorite that I will come back to.
Review from 30 Covert Emotional Manipulation Tactics: How Manipulators Take Control in Personal Relationships →
I already knew a great deal about manipulation. So I thought. But this book 100% confirmed everything that I need to know to about how my partner was manipulating me. Game changer.
Not too many books make me laugh out loud but this series is terrific. Please write more than 3 books in this oh so charming series Ms McCaslin. Love your style!
I love both sisters. The retired teacher in her comfortable shoes and the other sister in her heels. Delightful story.
These two sisters can’t be more different but it makes for so much fun for the reader. Please Ms McCaslin, write more books in this series!!
Listener trust Mrs. Austin writing style as the story starts slow, stay with it and you’ll be blessed! Story comes around beautifully woven, Thank you Lynn for sharing this work, as it helped me reflect on and process my own illegitimacy, it’s okay to acknowledge how my life was affected by not knowing my dad,..
While the story timeline moves around, it does it in a very graceful way. The storyline is tied together very well and you will want to continue listening until the very end.
