I liked the way the way the story weaved through so many lives and yet they were connected.

I love Lynn Austin’s books and this was my favorite one. It had a lot of twists and turns but was a meaningful and heartfelt story. I love the historical factor and following the characters through many generations. I highly recommend this book
Changed how I looked at things. Gave me much more understanding. Knowledge in the form of somewhat of a comforting story. Soothing to listen to. Absolutely loved this!
Expanded my intellectual horizons. . Guided the Hapsburg Monarchy for 40 years but isn’t highlighted in many Hapsburg Monarchy histories. My opinion under rated and unappreciated personality Well researched. Well written. Well presented. And she was a female ruler in a male oriented society.
I love Lynn Austin’s work. But this is the most depressing of all her stories I’ve read. I learned some history, and I love how she weaves the gospel into the story, but it was very long and sad.
I did not finish listening to this book. The story is supposed to be told by ac29 year old female but the narrator has an old voice. I found it hard to distinguish which character was speaking and was not rnjoyjng the book.
This book is great for students and also for individuals who would like to improve how to manage relationships
