What a good book. People live their lives and make the choices and then have to deal with the consequences. Forgiveness changes everything.

I enjoyed the plot. I did not enjoy the narrator. The whisper inflection and cadence of her voice was off putting. I stopped listening to the audio version and finished reading the book.

This book was so engaging and the stories interwoven in a way that kept me listening to find out more. I am impressed with the spiritual depth entwined with issues of faith and culture that is rarely seen in books of our time.

Did not enjoy the voices of the female characters to high pitched. None of the characters were very good actors. Too much time was spent on the baking competition versus plot development

Sweet story. Definitely worth the time to listen too. This really helped me to understand the sins of the fathers and father generations.

I felt like the narrator did not do a good job of the voices on Gabe and some of the others.

I knew these 30 tactics already but it helped me realize how severe it was when I realized he fit all 30. It helped me solidify my resolve to leave & understand that he isn’t going to change. It snapped me out of my denial.
