Short and to the point. The book is easy to understand with clear language and narration. I will likely come back to this book again.
I know progress is slow but we have made some headway In the last 100 Years. I found myself impatient with her, but it was a 100 years ago. Small towns are still gossipy.

Had I known this book was THIS religious, I would not have bought it.
This was my first book by Lynn Austin. The story captivated me as I journeyed through four generations of women in one family. The history was fascinating, learning how women were treated during the different times. I will be listening to more books by this author.
