I love how all this author’s books end correctly and make me glad for the Read or the listen. None of that flashy nonsense.
Always Good.

this was a nice quick reminder of why and what makes having boundaries important in life was wonderful. the reminders of what how we violate our life boundaries description was spot on. what I found was lacking though was feeling like explaining why and types of boundaries to have and examples are great but no..
As a sailor working on my own Lyle Hess boat, this is a great book with stories of sailing as well as details about boat ownership and cruising. It’s a great combination.
Well done. Story captivated me and was moving. At times I felt moved to tears as some of the story hit close to home. This is the 2nd book by Lynn Austin I have read and I will be reading more of her books!
The narration is stiff. Sounds like the way this book is laid out that it’s probably better to read than to listen to.

I didn’t expect much from the story bit it may be one of the best I’ve ever read. As a middle class thinking American it is hard not to recognize the characters even today. Don’t expect excitement. what you will find is much deeper than that.
Loved the witness of having a relationship with Christ and those who love it out in their lives. Also to see how religion can be a stumbling block.

Good overview of both the planning phases and the time during retirement. Annoying narration…may as well have been read by a robot.
