I purchased this book hoping it would not be like the last few tries at enjoying a new cozy mystery series and it wasn’t! This book was a different twist on cozies and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. In fact, I just purchased the next book in the series and I’m starting to “read” it..
Struggled to finish this one! The spirit of gottman is lost here. I much prefer What makes love last and even the 7 principles book. This is just a highlight without much depth.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Great story and a little history lesson at the same time. Makes you realize what individuals went through having to leave their family in another country and never seeing them again. I couldn’t wait to get in the car and continue the story!

I loved this book. Lynn Austin never disappoints. Her character development brings each character to life. The historical cultural focus was in line with my family so it gave some insight personally. It had several twists in it which I didn’t see coming. I highly recommend this book.

loved it. not what I expected at first but the more I listened I became engaged with the characters. the story was captivating
great listening if you just got out of a relationship or need to heal from a past narcissistic one.
It’s a brief and a precise roadmap for setting up boundaries.Ot doesn’t require a lot of focus but when you finish, you’d like totake some notes or hear some parts again to build up your own set of boundaries.
