I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Great story and a little history lesson at the same time. Makes you realize what individuals went through having to leave their family in another country and never seeing them again. I couldn’t wait to get in the car and continue the story!

Fascinating story of complicated family

I loved this book. Lynn Austin never disappoints. Her character development brings each character to life. The historical cultural focus was in line with my family so it gave some insight personally. It had several twists in it which I didn’t see coming. I highly recommend this book.
