Hours in an can’t find anything special here. Sci-fi details are different without being in any way unique or especially gripping. Pace is glacial. Narrator mediocre. It’s just a morass…
As slow as the length suggests

The story was moving along fine until the author starts in with gays, theys, and trannys. Just tell the story and leave all the other garbage out. The performance was good.
Surprisingly engaging from start to finish. I like the division into short adventures that were both part of a serialized saga and interesting on their own.

“A world in which lies are just temporary truths”… well, yeah, so what about our world where ppl just string up “temporary truths” as the reality, a policy, or a philosophy? As with the last tome I listened to (out of sequence…): likeable characters, good action… with a good shot of applied schizophrenia where it..
keeps one entertained would have been better if there had been a female narration as well. The story is sometimes funny other times annoying and also engaging. Note to author time passes faster in the mental realm. 1 day in normal space equaling 1 year in mind space, do you grock that? Humans are monsters..
I absolutely love this whole story. My only problem is at some point. I just got tired of chuck but is the point of his character. The narrator is amazing as always I also wish I had listen to this one first I’ll be moving on to the grandkids now

get through the first 7-8 chapters and it’ll all start to make sense. before then I figured it was a waste of a credit but after I realized what was going on it quickly became one of my favorite book series. After that I pretty much didn’t do anything but listen to this amazing trilogy

I love the stories, took a while to get through it. Found myself bored throughout most of the missions. Esper(spelling?) annoyed the heck out of me. It’s bad enough the action in the series was softcore. I just didn’t see the point of having her after the first mission. I’m not even going to start..
An interesting story to listen that follows the author’s own idea. Not blatantly crude or profane, it was a fresh idea.
pretty good character development and continuity. but you could miss some of it and still figure out what was going on.
