Same plot as the first series, characters make the same mistake. Society learns nothing. No interesting redemption archs…just feel disappointed with really no payoffs. You’d think the fighting would be against the slavery but most of it is between humans.

Laugh-out-loud funny. This is exactly what I look for in humourous fantasy, plenty of laughs, but not at the expense of the story. I’m looking forward to the rest of the series.
