I love that the message here, but the narration sometimes was sound so aggressive . Excellent book but not good narration.

I wanted to love this book but it was just okay. It really didn’t give me any new insight….I did love the idea of chalking the door….that to me was the best part of the book.

Start at the beginning, middle or end, and hear something new every time. Narrated by the brilliant Kevin O’Brien whom always brings you right into the treasure, such an incredible and rare talent. So grateful to have this to listen to! This is a classic for every soul seeking to know Christ better.

The narrator is over the top effeminate, and makes it very difficult to want to continue listening.

A great little work by a Doctor of the Church. I wish all would read it. We need his wisdom now perhaps more than ever.

St. Alphonsus is a doctor of the Church. This book shows why he has been declared a Saint. This is a classic and everyone should read it, and, I’d argue, yearly. I’m always amazed when I return to it. Please read it. If we all did, we’d be better off and so would the world.

I loved hearing the examples and reminders of redirecting my thoughts towards God’s will. Simple yet profound from this Saint!
