Sadly only half is actual history, the remaining is an attempt to make the stories of the Bible as factual history. The actual factual parts of the book is good and englighting but the Christian brainwashing is horrendus and destroyed the totality for me.

Brings a whole new understanding to Dantes Inferno. His added commentary really brings the story / poem into an entirely new light for me.

Books like this and Gulag should be mandatory reading in highschools throughout the US, and at the very least college. It’s important to realize how quickly we’re all capable of being led to savagery for vile causes.
Explains a the path to true happiness, this is a guide to that happiness. Explains why bad things happen but we should not fear.
i have a sincere devotion to the eucharist and I’m sure this is an excellent book .the narrator however does this book no favors . it was all I could do to make myself finish this book .
