The person doing the recording was fine. The story was…mostly annoying. The main character was such a tantrum throwing jerk to so many people that it was just annoying. Of course he’s supposed to be headstrong – but he mostly comes off as entitled and petulant. And the narrative wasn’t terribly interesting. AND AGAIN, women..
Overall, the plot premise is quite engaging, and there is sustainable suspense in discovering what led to the awakening of the main character and in what he’ll need to do next given the constant peril he is in. The final book is actually a novella that takes place in the past, and enlightens us on..
Super satisfying and light-hearted read. Interesting premise. Overall enjoyed book #1 of DCC > Cradle > Primal Hunter more than this one, but it is still well worth the read. Solid contender for Top 10 book of the year (I read mostly Fantasy, some sci-fi and some litRPG/progression fantasy).

The build up the drama the battles all was so good and the long chapter of character stats wasn’t and it was good
Great series, bad book, so about a 5th of the book is one battle with a very disappointing end, and where as the series before this book does a great job of going just deep enough into esoteric philosophy ideas to keep you interested but still make a point, this book is almost all soul,..
