the narrator has puts no emotion in it at all. the story line has a ton of potential but I cant get past the dull droning of the narrator.

A long depressing story about how the ocean leaves out trust in all its tortured secrets. As a sailor who dismissed such adventure due to sailboats sinking in the inside passage of Alaska I learned how quick life can end in cold water.

Truly enjoyed listening to this audio book. It was written well and I found it very interesting listening to actual veterans and their individual war experiences…

The first two books were decent but they get really bad after this one. The characters become one-dimensional, the women are weak and the men are the heroes, just a disappointing storyline altogether.

These characters are getting more disappointing with each book. Save yourself the trouble and quit while you’re ahead.

I am a Carlton Stowers fan. I don’t blame him for my disappointment but I am surprised that the story was so pedestrian. It was also a very short book. I found it disappointing all around.

While I have enjoyed this series very much, the audio brings to life and adds depth to already deep characters, even the AI is growing and changing. Adds a few twists and turns and now a new [spoiler] and this just keeps better and better!
