Some of this was really good. Some was kind of repetitive. But overall a good read for free.

Very well researched, written and engaging story about an interesting historical figure. There is much to learn in this book not only about Captain Kidd and piracy but also about the political climate in England and the American colonies during this period of time

this book was enjoyable to read. interesting seeing how the president is taking a role in the story. Max has taken an interesting role now that he is the strongest. hoping the next book will bring new weapon ideas either crafting them or as a reward.

I feel privledged to have heard the stories of those men. May the generations of world war 2 rest in peace. From all sides.

I was heavily impressed by Meade’s reaction to the many challenges he faced after being in command of the army for less than a week and this book does a great service to history by outlining just how monumental the task Meade faced was and the challenges many historians have taken for granted.

plot was hard to follow. too many characters which were hard to relate to.
