The storyline is expected it’s a bit taboo but the hatred in the words and in the tone of the narrators, all the self-loathing and the back and forth in their excitement and then the depths of disgust. I like how your stories have a little bit of angst and the taboo topic is intriguing..
I listened to tons of dark, gothic, smut books but this was just creepy and disturbing. Graphic language regarding Minors which was super uncomfy, some mentions of SA and a lot of torture and abuse in the book which I was not expecting.

Beautiful story about how two people are destined to be together forever. The tragedies are heart wrenching and almost unbearable, but the human spirit prevails and their lives are richer for it. Every kind of love is here. Great listen!
I love what liveries were taken with the characters. I couldn’t put the book down. As always a fantastic narrator and fast paced story. I can’t wait to see more gods and want hades to be redeemed with a love of his own.

I really liked this book. I thought the characters were likeable and realistic compared to some books I have read. Melody was level headed when dealing with Parker. There was not a lot of frustration over wishing they would just communicate better. They actually talked about things like adults and patiently helped one another work..
The man’s voice sounds way too old – and the woman is sporting a Boston accent by way of Brooklyn. The plot is paced poorly with the central love story feeling rushed. Better choice: Nocticadia by the same author.

I have really enjoyed all of Kelsie Rae’s books and read multiple series by her! For this particular story, I feel like there was a lot of buildup and backstory about the nephews that never really went anywhere, and wish he didn’t call her “birthday girl” 100+ times, but it was still great overall!

Keri Lake could write a how to manual on a vacuum cleaner and I would still EAT IT UP!!! If you’re looking for an under hyped, dark, delicious retelling of Beauty and the Beast, that has a little bit of everything, and is gripping from the first chapter then this is the book for you!!!..
Loved the story! However, when there are two narrators, why have the female imitate the male voices? It’s cringy and ridiculous. I will continue the series but will read instead of listen.
