I can’t tell you how many times while listening to this series that I’ve found myself thinking of trying to get into DND, the last book made me want to play a game as Carl. But I think I could create my own unique character.

This book does a great deal of table setting that is enjoyable to watch. Intricately detailed, laced with secrets and filled with ominous promises of things on the horizon. Less of an everything all at once rush than some of the books in this series, but the overall more even pacing is much more even..
Good thing the next few books are already written! All hail Princess Donut the Queen Anne Chonk.

First two books are excellent, but the third book lost the plot by the end. SMALL SPOILER ALERT!!! Saying the sisters second origin makes her overly rational and intelligent, but proceed to write the exact opposite is mind numbing. She wants to make brother happy, but thinks he’ll be OK with her killing his friends…
Insane story, extremely entertaining, multiple laugh out loud moments. Stop reading reviews and just buy it already.
