Great story, a little fight detail heavy, but a great first person view of the whole story. I follow Burning Bright on Badlands and couldn’t wait to check this out! Definitely worth the price in entertainment!!

Writing and narration/performance are amazing and makes me hate it here even more than I already did!
Going into the book, I wasnt sure about the hype. But, after the first chapter, I knew I was in trouble. The absurd nature of the setting set against Carl’s relatable inner-monologue creates genuinely funny moments. The dungeon is consistently surprising and doesnt lose its charm, which I was also afraid of. I cant WAIT..
The ending was really good (I’m not gonna spoil it and if you wanna know about the ending you gotta listen for yourself)

Honestly so good and I feel like I got a life lesson or two out of it. If I could I would erase my memory of this book so I can listen to it again like it was the first time.
