I thought this book was exciting and funny. Carl and Princess Doughnut are lovable and a great partnership. The voice actor did an excellent job of making all of the characters distinct and each had a lot of personality. the writing itself was funny and did the fantasy/gaming world well. They did a great job..

Great story and very engaging. For those of us that have played RPGs or dungeon crawl games, you can close your eyes and be there with Carl and Princess Donut.
I loved the voices used for each character, it really complimented the already incredibly fun story.

I loved that this was a quick read & listen. I loved how the main character Tilda was mindful- and how they used enhancements to the audiobook with different voices for the characters.

I’m unfamiliar with this author. Nevertheless, I very much enjoyed the book. I also thought the narrators were quite good, as was the storyline.I’m looking forward to the next book in this installment.
