the narrator did a fantastic job at creating an original sound for each character

I enjoyed this book, obviously I came over from dungeon crawler Carl, but it was nice to have something not connected (though it does have fun Easter eggs I guess). It was a captivating story and flew by

another well thought out plot, lived in world, and payoffs that were planned well ahead.

Well I am not sure how I feel about this book as I just finished it. The other books definitely are fun and enjoyable, this book had great points but also because it’s coming to the the ending it’s heavy and losing other minor characters( could lose a lot more in the next ones). Still..

It actually took me a second to get over the fact I wasn’t listening to DCC, but I quickly became invested and the ending is just wow- take the journey- you won’t regret it!

Great story and voice work. If you like Dungeon Crawler Carl you will like this too.

I’ve never heard such unexpected twists and interesting story that just rips the rug right out from you. So good I listened ahead of my wife. She will be mad but that is the price I will pay.
