Concept was good, and general storyline was fine. Annnnd then you have the MC, who is absolutely cringe. The side characters are better written. The dialogue is so stilted and weird.
This book grabbed my wife and I’s attention from the opening and we binged the available books so fast we were hit with disappointment to find out we had to wait a few months for the next book. It has been a none stop roller coaster and we can’t wait to see where it goes..

Dayuummm. Not going to lie, in book 6, I was worried I was getting tired of this series, but this one totally amped up the stakes. The new battle play was interesting, and the tension and pacing were tight through the end. My husband and I are both counting down the days until book 7!

I’m only a couple hours into book 5 and it’s amazing. The soundscapes they provide with the top tier voice acting really brings you into the world. All fantasy or Isekai fans listen to or read the series you won’t be disappointed.
Just WOW! Everything about this audibook is just topshelf material. The characters, the world building, the story, the concept and most definitely, the narrator! It’s one amazing and super immersive ride to go on. I can’t wait to go through the other books!
