A fun imagining of what the old west would be like if guns used mana-produced bullets. Great framework and background set up for future adventures while still completing a crucial story line. LOVE the voice acting! Did a wonderful job of keeping me in universe and added a lot to the experience.

I absolutely loved this book! I gotta be honest, reading the description, I didn’t think it would be my kind of book, but thanks to the help of thousands of 4+ star reviews, I decided to take a chance. Man am I glad I did! I absolutely loved every part of this book! I loved..
I feel like the series is flagging for me. The narration is top notch and the combat remains a high point, but so much of the banter feels forced and many of jokes miss the mark. Many of the background and support characters feel hollow, like NPCs who only exist to provide a specific interaction..
This is only in regards to the first book as it doesn’t allow me to leave a review for only the first book specifically though I’ve completed it. An adolescent dies and is reborn as a drama student ant. The inner dialogue is repetitive and sounds like a child talking to themselves while they talk..
