10/10 Plenty of Train Content. Although sometimes I had to go back a few minutes to re-listen to a few sections, due to some complicated train shenanigans.

Sure, we know how the book will end before we read it. None of us predicted 5% of what happens in between. These are unique characters. Added and removed from the series at the correct times. Just enough humor still. The story plot is brewing and it’s getting thick.

This series is one of my favorite. Great storytelling, excellent narration, quote and imagination. I listen to this series already 4 times. Thank you Mat.
It takes a simple dungeon crawl and somehow makes it new. The narration really makes it shine, with music and multiple voice actors.

I am in awe of these guys’ ability to keep churning out amazing stories. Like the previous books, this one continues to keep you engaged and longing for more. I have never before come across a series of books that kept meeting expectations. I love this series and can’t wait for the next book.
Everything is *chef’s kiss* – favorite in the series so far. Cant wait to see what Carl and Donut get into (or out of) next.

Each story keeps getting better. This one was riveting, action packed, and even made me tear up, which sounds kinda gay – but seriously. Good book.
I love DCC, despite the Iron Tangle. but Matt did it again…. he connected everything together too well. I spent most of the book thinking “who the f is this”. and “wth is happening ????” he overdid the plot. he used every scrap of every character (literally hundreds of characters). and Charlie’d them all together..

I really enjoyed most of the previous book, but this one is a fricking mess. The subway/iron tangle book was hard to follow, but at least you could just ignore the line numbers and colors and generally get the gist of the story. This one is just a disaster of confusion. So many characters, most..
