Review from Dungeon Crawler Carl →
The writing, story and narration is so engaging. Without question the best book series I’ve ever had the pleasure to listen to. I have over 500 books in my audible library from all genres and I’ve listened to thos complete series 4 times already. If you don’t like this then you have no soul.
The Eye of the Bedlam Bride by Matt Dinniman is a spectacular addition to the hit series – Dungeon Crawler Carl. Contains the usual heart-pounding action, humor, and crazy characters. Book is a must read for fans of the series. DRmz 8-29-24
MC Finch is retired and a recluse who doesn’t even take care of himself, which 12 year old, Bree Blackstone calls him on when he opens his door to her pleas for help. I loved her asking him if he was a hobo. Bree needs Finch to help solve her mother’s murder and help find..
actually a really great series. I was surprised they didn’t overdo the ant puns. well written and performed
Anyone who gives this series less than 5 stars must be living under tons of feral gods, random debris in Carl’s inventory, and sex doll heads. I’ve listened from book 1-6 more times than is probably healthy, but I hear something I missed every single time I go back. Clever doesn’t cut it, maybe ingenious..
Main character is arrogant and petty, which is a drag to listen to. most of the book is about arrogance revenge.
Hysterical. The narrator is supremely talented and the book itself is wild and fun. Haven’t laughed out loud this often at an audiobook in years. Highly recommend.
This is my new favorite series. The humor, action, and occasional tender moment kept me gripped for what is my new longest listening session. I still can’t believe a single narrator does all the voices.
