I greatly enjoyed this book. I feel that the first book had a lot of World building that they wanted to do, and this one gets down to more developing characters and pushing the story along. I absolutely love the narrators!

the tone of the voice actors and the emotion behind them is really captivating. I could listen non stop. would love more audio books like this.
I think the goal was to stop on a cliff hanger which never feels satisfying but it really just stops as the story builds depth. One or two more chapters would really have helped set up what we expect next instead of dropping a bomb (that is strongly foreshadowed) and then literally as it explodes..

The narration is top notch, the world building is decent. I just felt like this was a partial story. I can’t say definitely what, if any, major events took place. This book gets “the team together” & then ends. I’m still looking forward to more but a bit nervous at the speed the plot is..

Fantastic didn’t think I’d like it at first but I found myself hooked by the 4th chapter. Great voice acting !

if you like the litrpg genre this is one of the defining series in the genre. Carl is a fun character and the rest of the cast is strong enough to keep up and occasionally take the lead. these books keep getting better as the series goes on.

In total, the book was good. Kind of scarf that they changed Aurora’s voice but you could get used to it quick and that that’s the book is pretty short compared to the last one. other than that it is a good book.
