The main character is utterly unlikable without any redeeming qualities. There is nothing to root for, and so I don’t care to learn what will happen to him.

The dialogue makes it obvious it’s for the younger crowd; it needs better cussing. It’s the apocalypse for f**** sake!! Both my husband and I loved the book! Full of action, laughs, and heart with a ton of creativity and whit.

Loved the character developments in this one particularly, loved hearing Sarah come to embrace her bezerker body

I was entertained by the story. I didn’t feel like it advanced much in this book. I have also listened to a few LitRPG books this one seemed short in comparison to the others that I have listened to. It is possible the other series were just longer, I dont know.

I don’t normally read this kind of book, but I’ve really enjoyed it! Entertaining! Definitely a nice change of pace!

Excellent story and world-building/destroying. I’m immediately moving on to book 2. Great narration. Recommend! Lots of fun and very engaging.
