toward the end they started playing voice clips repetively from earlier parts of the story over top of the current story. made it so that I have no clue what really happened in that chapter. love the story over all just some production issues that really detract from it.
I greatly appreciate the story and am eager to see what happens to our hero does he make it to the ancients do we see any other species of ant?
This and Xenos are the best audiobooks I have ever listened to and I’m a constant listener.Brilliant, especially the reader
Pretty freakin creative… it went to places I wouldn’t have imagined. The short feel was probably from the quest format feeling like separate stories. So, the last quest in this book felt like ‘the book’. It’s a format thing.
There is story in this weave of fluff wording. not a good story, but it’s there. there are just too many filler words portraying ideas and thoughts that are useless to the overall story. I found myself skipping 30 seconds ahead consistently and not missing anything of note. Hard to say if I should condemn..
The mc is just not very likable and has weird violent outbursts. I kept listening trying to get to something interesting but nothing ever happens. The plot just felt very low stakes and all of the jokes missed.
Did not expect this awesome story and narration. The detail was amazing and in no way did I expect this to hit the gamer in me along the way.
