The dynamic between them is amazing and they’re so complex I’m so excited to watch them grow and expand in the second book. I hope the authors keep it up(I also love the gore in this to but I’m just weird)

I feel like the last two books have been “less steamy.” Story is great- but that’s what caught and kept my attention initially- hoping it continues as this series continues.
Holy crap! This book sucked the main character is introduced as a competent scout but the moment he was alone the first time he became a simpering idiot constantly obsessing over explaining very stupid details of his own thoughts then repeats them over and over it took 14 chapters (7 hours!) to end the first..
I have really enjoyed the Dungeon Crawler Carl series. It’s fun, it’s humorous, the characters are fleshed out so well that they feel like friends. If you enjoy gaming, you’ll enjoy this series.
