Less Fun, More Serious

Each book in this series becomes more serious and less fun than the last. I personally enjoyed the series more when it was more light-hearted. However, I am not going to let my personal preference impact this rating as the book is exceptionally well done and exactly what you should/would expect from the previous book.

Chester, Damon, and Melina are a crew that lives and breaths for each other. Chester grows towards humanity as Damon take on the monster trades but they continue to get stronger and more understanding of the quest they are on. Not to be missed. I love it and I can’t wait for book 3

Great addition to the series. As Boxy grows stronger, its minions are also which is affecting their autonomy. I feel this book sets a president on how Boxy may need to mature psychologically to maintain its leadership. The progression also speaks to how its minions will cope when it dies.

The boss fight was great and very well written. I’ve listened to this episode twice and most likely will listen to it a few more times. I will miss Boxy when this series is finished.
