Review from Mimic & Me →
the humor is always on point inliciting a good laugh in each chapter. the story continues to be very engaging and has a little something to offer everyone. I have placed the author and narrator in my favorites list.
There’s literally no plot. It’s just this guy in a dungeon and a description of what he’s doing in there for many hours. The narrator keeps laughing out loud like a robotic idiotic. Not the best in this genre but the series does improve by book 3. I’m listening bc I already finished everything else,..
The characters are likable and the cat is cute. The narrator was doing a bizarre laugh in the prior books and has been better about not doing the robotic, forced lols. The writing of the backstory and emotional dialogue is sooooooo bad. It’s so awkward that I had to fast forward through it. It reads..
Can this series please go on for all eternity, it’s just so damn tasty. The whole series is my favorite audiobook of all time.
Loving this series and how it is going. just felt this book was a little short. Wish it was a little longer. But with a cast and crew like they have who wouldn’t want to have it longer.
This book continues with a steady pace and plenty of unexpected events. Following Carl as he survives through skill and sheer dumb luck has been enjoyable. The escalation of the various conflicts keeps the story interesting.
