(Audiobook review) Good fun. Second book in the series. The story continues on the 3rd floor of the dungeon, which is more of an open world with towns and NPCs. We learn a bit more about the outside world, and some more character development. On to the next book!
I am in absolute thrall of these books. Excellent narration! Such a fun read!!!! Couldnt put it down! Cant wait for the next one!
The New Achievement announcer Reward “ sounded like Don Pardow or a typical game show announcer I guess thinking more on it that’s what you should have realized.
I thought this was going to be funny. It is not. It has witty elements and the juxtaposition of the story situations is bizarre and could be viewed as humorous, it’s not a funny tale. The characters are unique and distinct. They grow and the story has good twists, though they are subtle, mostly. I..
Probably the most entertaining listen I’ve had this year. You don’t have to be a gamer to appreciate, but it helps.
The story just keeps getting better and better. Can’t wait for the next book! I have all of my coworkers reading the series.
I subscribed to Audible specifically for this series on the recommendation of a friend. this is my first Audible book. it did not disappoint. From the very 1st chapter I was hooked. I can’t wait for my subscription renewal to get started on the next book!!.
Dungeon Crawler Carl What can I say about this insanity?? Jeff Hays does an absolutely phenomenal job. Easily one of the best audiobooks I’ve ever listened to. The story is wacky and unpredictable. I never know what sort of batsht crazy stuff Matt is going to pull out of his pocket to add even more..
I had high hopes for this book because I enjoyed DCC so much. I found the story fairly bland overall. The characters were great, the plot was lacking. Jeff Hays is fantastic like usual.
