Didnt think it was possible to live up to the hype but these books do so far. Bonus points if you enjoy roleplaying games.

As always the audiobook is amazing, the narration is incredible, this book is exactly what I expected with a ton of action and war but there are also great dramatic moments

While I enjoyed Matt’s previous novels, this one didn’t hit. I was bored from the start, made it halfway through, and could not finish.

I can’t wait for the next book it’s was a little short but the world building was great voice acting was good I love the robot

i like donuts voice and the accent they gave carl, firt time trying audible, good choice of actor

My teenager and I are listening to this series together and I can’t say enough about how we both enjoy it.🥰

I honestly don’t think I’ve said WTF out loud so many times for any other book.

I like that this book is structured like a Lit RPG… But, thanks to the author’s brilliant Hitchhiker’s-esque world, it’s still based in the real world with real consequences and feelings. It’s gritty, funny, and manages to even be compelling and thought-provoking at times. Sort of a “big boy’s” video game book.

another fun entry. the acting and production make it worthwhile. some pretty farfetched and character armor plots that felt a bit eye rolling. but still fun
