no dislikes, good narrative and virasimilitude. gives a great layout of cars, trap, and reliefs.

Review from Carl’s Doomsday Scenario →
This one had quite a bit of info dumping when it came to the layout of the subway system, but other than that, the main story was great as always. The narration is still one of the best I’ve ever listened to. Will definitely be continuing this series!

A whole book with more or less one character, it’s impossible to find it entertaining. Just monologue. It’s a miracle it’s a sequel. It’s get better in book two, and book three is where the story becomes normal. Where you have different characters interacting, see growth in the story etc.A hard pass for me
The fact that there’s only one of these books makes me so sad. the author had something very special going on with this book and I really wish they would’ have been able to continue . I still check back every couple years to see if there’s a new one out.
A little slower compared to the rest of the series. They crammed a lot of character development, which slows down the storyline. Book 3 picks right back up and has been amazing.
the storyline convoluted as all get out, but fun in a maddening way. I enjoy the story, and its basically a dnd game written in GURPS written by a madman.
I truly listened to the entire pair of box sets. I paid for the titles and decided to see it thru to the bitter end. The entire story just felt like an ego stroke for the author. The main character just feels pompous. He’s supposedly a nerd that somehow knows mixed martial arts and alien..
Such a good addition to the Dungeon series! Jeff Hays was amazing per usual! I love seeing Carl evolve in the dungeon & just absolutely kill it. Can’t wait to start the next book
