Another banger in the series. A change of scenery, and a little bit in pace, but a welcome one! I really loved the addition of the cookbook itself, what a great idea for worldbuilding… Riveting listen as always, and I loved how long and winding it was, similar to the traintracks 🙂 I recently learned..

The story isn’t particularly innovative. It feels a lot like Ready Player One had a baby with He who fights with monsters, but it lacks the pizazz of either of those pieces of work. I think I would have given it a 3 star or even 4 if there hadn’t been some weird racial subtext…
