Love the story, which is enhanced by the theatrical reading. 10/10 definitely recommend! LISTEN TO IT
Still having fun. Appreciate the creativity on the trials and on the solutions, excited for what comes next
Book doesn’t slow down the minute it starts. Jeff Hays is the best in the business and him and Matt are a duo I can’t stop listening to. Can’t wait for the rest of the books!!!
I love this story, it had highs and lows, the characters and plot suck you in, making you want to hear more. story was good, really good. Andrea was my favorite character
Good voice work and it’s just a funny read. Really enjoyed the ride. Good character development so far.
A lot of these books take themselves too seriously and make the grappling with the new world too much of an internal struggle. This one has minor elements of that because well it has to but doesn’t give you chapter after chapter of self deprecation like many other.
Seems like a promising series starter. Main character and mimic combo is interesting and the side characters are good.
MC fuses with an old mimic to form a symbiotic relationship. Pretty fun interactions between the MC and the mimic, with good narration. Mimic gives MC OP advantages, but he has to keep them hidden. Probably worth continuing the series
