More of what you like and love with plenty of tidbits to keep you bitting your nails. Probably has one of the best action sequences in the series. More back story and deep character development for our protagonist. 10/10 worth the credit.
Really enjoyed the book, although I would say get into it expecting that this is book 0 rather than book one. I would also say the true “card” building aspect has yet to shine. Overall, great book, great story and excellent narration

Almost didn’t purchase but happy I did. Good story even though we’ve seen similar. Good narration. Overall great and looking forward to book two!

I was reluctant to buy this due to how short it was. However, I’m so glad that I did. This book has a TON of adult humor, but it’s very tasteful. I’ve finished 4 of these books in 3 days. I would recommend listening to this book on 1.3x speed. Each book progressively gets better..
