A well-done expansion to the series, the LGBT inclusion is light and not slammed into the readers face and properly treated a just a observation, not a heavy focus, just like the Standard relationships just as it should be.
This series has incredibly compelling characters, along with some of the best villains I’ve read to date. Not to mention SBT does a fantastic job bringing this world to life.
a decent book for YA fiction. if you’re looking for adult work, this isn’t it. dialogue between characters feels like Disney/ Nickelodeon interaction. no real reasoning for the interactions beyond chance. a lot of sudden “gifts” to resolve problems immediately presented there after. overall okay, but definitely feels like “ready player one” without the pop..
