What a great tribute to all of the Aethon authors in a comedy that’s actually funny! There are SO many Easter eggs in this thing. I’m glad I got this one on Audible. Soundbooth Theater knocked it out of the park with this one. Wow. Great job!
But it’s been well worth the wait. War has come to The Haunt and the only solution is escalation. I was thoroughly enthralled, and my only complaint is that I wish we had gotten more magical hijinks on Earth.
A fun romp through a interesting world. Interesting powers developed in interesting ways. Kept my attention and left me wanting more. Only bad part is the “imaginary ingredients” lists and how the powers came to be was awkward… example how unicorn poop can be turned into a magical fertilizer…?! so characters, MC is kinda weird with his code as the right hand of a gang leader, which he tries to use to make himself or the author make us feel that he is a good person or whatever, female character is basic and just so good they are cardboard cutouts with no real depth..

Was not sure at first if I’d like the 1st person or the world, or the bard aspect. But, thoroughly entertaining and funny. There are moments where you just fall in love with the characters. A great time.

while it didn’t have me doubling over in laughter it was pretty funny. the story was enjoyable and the plot twist at the end is completely unexpected. masterful story telling.
Its another great reorded proformance by the wonderful voice actors. I listen when ever possible, durring lunch at work, the drive to and from work and even on my days off. Truly great proformances.
