This performance changed my mind about audiobooks. As for the writing, I love the complex compelling characters and storyline.
A respectable number of twists for a story of this type. Starts out like a grind or a hack but it gets a bit more involved. Good character development. its still pretty linear with the lead character in 99% of the scenes. Worth it if you’re into these type of stories.
Keep books like this coming! That was an adventure epic to measure other adventure epics by in my opinion! It has everything, intrigue, mystery, action, attitude, adventure and discovery plus copious baddies to be eliminated!
Dad jokes abound, consistent storyline, funny quips, male undead maids and a host of interesting characters. oh, and mantis sisters who like eating people. what’s not to like?
in the beginning I was a little thrown off by the style of writing and the age of the characters. as I continued the story everything became clear and all fell into place. I ended up really enjoying it because of its originality. I strongly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the..
I loved Jeff, and his many voices but I also love Matt Dinnaman’s character building! The setting was amazing and story was deliciously delightful!
Great voice acting with a great story and great sound effects turn us all into dungeon crawler wannabes
The story was very well written, and I love the main character and how he deals with being thrown in a new world. It’s refreshing to not have some one be OP from the start.
Fantastic new entry in the Chrysalis series. Even more than in the earlier books we get to see the ants mounting a major defense of the colony against invaders. It’s fascinating to watch them take on other intelligent species for the first time. Great read.
