Good start. The card dynamic was done well and felt different than other books that use cards as part of their game system. It felt a bit grim dark but the MC was still likeable. The plot was somewhat predictable but it was full of action. The narration was excellent!
Story line is fluent. Main focus on VR and AI, would have expected a romance in IRL for the main characters. Adult content is a bit comedian like, but easy to digest. I would recommend it for easy but capturing listening.

Not much plot. Not many characters. Mostly just a guy wondering around killing monsters over and over and over again. Has some humor and a few interesting ideas though and a unique perspective.

I have 2 complaints and they’re relatively minor. When the characters are talking to someone on the phone the other end is much lower than everything else making it difficult to hear. The second is the ending twist/reveal was so obvious I called it before the main character received his deck.
Decent stroy overall. Slower paced than some others of its genre. Would give it a solid 4 stats if the defacto leader of earth didn’t constantly apologize for no reason. It’s like going to the bar and having the bar tender constantly say, “Sorry, I’m new”. Gets old after the first time.

I really enjoyed this audiobook. Story and narration both receive top marks from me. Excited for more to come in the future.
