Review from Carl’s Doomsday Scenario →
I had bought this on a whim a while back but put off starting the series because, with some few exceptions, LitRPG is rife with terrible writing and subpar voice acting. This one is amazing. All the way around. I would put narration on par with Travis Baldree.
This review may contain SPOILERS. Read at your own risk. The absolutely awesome thing about this series is that it draws you in. I am absolutely obsessed! What first drew me into this story was the concept. I love the idea of sending fantasy and science fiction out on a date because that love has..
It felt like Hays got bored and decided to experiment. Sort of Southern, but inconsistently so. He narrated thoughts on different voices even though they were the same character. Theirs no comfortible singular listen volume. Listened to other books to make sure it..
SBT and Nevens story always give me an ear boner! For the love of god Fritz, i don’t want the story to ever end.

great story lines epic storytelling , the readers bring this to life cannot wait till next book releases
The performance is so bad, I had to laugh to get through the book. The story has potential, but the writer simply follows a simple pattern of hero has a problem, hero overcomes problem, hero has fun.
Firstly love production touches like audio additions, not all the time but a little makes it feel cinematic and adds a depth of immersion. A tidbit I didn’t like was the glossing over of the real world then sudden nuclear attacks and nothing else mentioned felt rushed like it was forgotten and needed to get..
