This is a great story, with lots of great puns, and has an incredible performance by sound booth theater. Too often litrpg stories sacrifice story for stats, but this does not. I am looking forward to more of this excell(ant) series.

Mr. Dinniman lucked-out so hard with landing such a talented voice actor to narrate his works. I can’t say enough good things about the voice acting. Read this series for some good, irreverent fun. Don’t start with this book, you’ll be really cranky if you do.

It makes you wonder, if you steal the best parts of a hundred different things, and put them together in a charming fashion, would that be so wrong? It turns out, it just feels right.

I love the story! The fact that Alexander’s father is willing to move heaven and earth to save him. I have read and listened to this book several times. I still am emotionally moved. This, along with Battleborn, very quickly became my comfort titles.

The characters are well done and the story really has no slow or boring parts, so be prepared for marathon listening. If you are one of those people who need to sleep or do a job where you can’t listen to a book it’ll be super irritating. Seriously though, the author just hit all the..
